April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began with guitar and piano in the 7th grade, which ignited her interest. At the age of seven she began to take guitar and piano lessons. The lessons sparked her passion in writing songs. When she was 14 April was a big devotee of her time singing and writing songs. The following years, she took writing excursions with her father to LA as well as NY. April also began incorporating other relevant topics into the Take my Hand song for some close friends, like peer pressure disabilities and teen suicide. Lockhart has her own fan base and also works as a lifestyle blogger at the well-known Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. She was not born having a left-handed hand, which is why she's the person she is. It's just not the full story. Because of this, her Instagram account isn't afraid to talk about her disability, but it doesn't center around it neither. The point? The message?
