Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress who is best famous for her character of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her bold television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. Her notable film appearances are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently developing a movie adaptation of writer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. She is also filming for an upcoming TV series called Gods & Heroes.
